The Polished Pup Retreat

What Will My Dog Learn?
Mastering these 7 commands can turn you and your pup into an unstoppable team!
“Come”
Total recall - teach your dog to come up to you and sit at your feet any time you ask “come”!
“Sit” & “Down”
Teach your dog to stay in “sit” and “down” around distractions and hold their command until they hear their release word!
“Place”
Teach your dog to “place” on their dog bed to settle while you invite guest in, or on a cot next to you at the park while you watch your kids play, etc!
“Heel”
Enjoy a nice stroll around the block with your dog by teaching them to walk right by your side in a “heel” walk!
“Off”
Teaching your dog “off” helps build communication and set boundaries. Use “off” to help stop unwanted behaviors such as counter surfing, getting in trash, digging holes, chewing, etc!
“Break!”
Don‘t forget to teach your dog a release word, like “break” followed by lots of praise and treats! A release word helps your dog build duration with their commands and teaches them to stay until they hear their release!
